The flame of the candle represents the soul and is also associated with the power of fire, but it also contains the other three elements that are fundamental to our energy: water, which is suggested by the wax as it melts, air, which is symbolized by the smoke that the candle gives off and earth that is symbolized by the wax.

Why do the candles need care?

Here are myTop 5 care tips of your candle. It's obvious that if you care for your candle like you would anything else, you'll get the best performance out of it.

1. Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials. Candles can get extremely hot. ⠀

The most important thing is the place where the candle is placed, far away from direct Heat sources and not in a drafty placeso that the candle does not burn unevenly.

2. Wick trimming

Before lighting, shorten the wick to about four 3 to 5 millimeters and remove the burned-out remainder of the wick. This means the wax burns slower and more evenly and soot formation can be prevented. Cutting off the black ball at the end of the wick ensures that carbon is removed, which would otherwise cause the candle to heat up and burn out more quickly.

You can use a tool such as scissors or a tissue. ⠀

3. Let your Arna CandlesCandle time.

When lighting the flame for the first time, we recommend letting the candle burn for at least two hours so that the wax can adapt to the shape and burn evenly for further “burning moments”.When burning for the first time, let the melt pool reach the edge of the glass before blowing it out (2-3 hours). Then let it burn for 2-4 hours. Please wait at least an hour for the scent to fill the room. If you burn for over 4 hours, carbon can build up on the wick, causing the flame to become too large and the candle to smoke. ⠀ ⠀

4. Never leave it burning without supervision! Keep away from children, animals and people who like to play with liquified wax! ⠀⠀

5. Do not leave leftover wick or matches in the candle burning bowl: they contaminate the wax and can also increase the amount of wax absorbed by the wick in the flame, which can cause both Soot formation leads to.I wish you relaxing and relaxing moments with Arna!
